planets with water on it

Why is the phrase “Where there’s water there’s life” applied by some atheists to other planets?
“Where there’s water there’s life” is a phrase that was coined in reference to water on earth.
But I’ve seen some atheists apply that to the possibility for extra-terrestrial life on other planets.
The facts: We know of one planet with water and life on it.
Conclusion: There is not enough evidence to apply “Where there’s water there’s life” to other planets.
The Bible speaks of “lifes water”
Revelation 22
17 And the spirit and the bride keep on saying: “Come!” And let anyone hearing say: “Come!” And let anyone thirsting come; let anyone that wishes take life’s water free.
We are on the ONLY planet just the right distance from the sun to sustain our life.
The Earth and our bodies are roughly made up of about 75% water.
We and “our food” grow here well.
Plant and animal life that we are and that sustains us.
And that includes water.
Do we know enough about the other planets and the life that is there? Has there been enough exploration to see that?
All speculation. Based ONLY on what we know for here on this planet and the puny amount of the universe we have been fortunate enough to explore and see first hand.
STILL one of my favorite pictures is of the Earth from space, all that white blue and green, perfectly round.
I digress. We don’t know.
Your facts are correct. We simply cannot make an assumption on so little information and knowledge.

Moonlight On Water $14.95 This collection of songs is a celebration of all things beautiful in nature and in ourselves. Songs one, four and six have the theme of water, but song five, “In A Magic Garden” could not be complete without water. Song seven, “Spanish Plaza At Sunset”, would have to have a fountain. And, it’s no stretch to say, as we are mostly water ourselves, that all life in us responds to water, sunligh… |
